HOW TO PARTICIPATE

BEFORE THE EVENT

Find something to pie yourself with at home! Some examples of items include whipped cream, shaving cream, butter, cream cheese, toothpaste, mayonnaise, lotion, sunscreen, and ice cream!

DURING THE EVENT

Inform your members of how they can participate!

1. PURCHASE A PIE

Student org members can purchase a pie to pie their president by Venmo-ing @TexasAED $3 during the event! Once you a member has donated, they will post the 'For Members' graphic above on their story and tag their president to notify them that they must pie themselves. Note: When Venmo-ing @TexasAED, be sure to include the name of the student org in the memo.

2. FUNDRAISE!

Student orgs can use the fundraising graphics above to raise money for Operation KidDocs rather than simply donating/purchasing a pie! This is the best way to win the student org competition and win the monetary donation! All donations should be sent to @TexasAED. Note: When Venmo-ing @TexasAED, be sure to include the name of the student org in the memo.

Inform your members of the student organization incentives!

1. The top 3 fundraising organizations will win a monetary donation to the philanthropy of their choice!

​

2. The top 3 fundraisers (individual members of organizations) will win prizes that will be revealed during the livestream!

Pie yourself when you get challenged and tag us @pieapresident on Instagram!

Tagging us will help us keep track of student org participation throughout the day, and your video clip will get featured on our livestream on Day 3 during the recap video!
